How Mobile radiation can impact brain activity

Mobile Radiation

Cell Mobile radiation and its effects on our brains and bodies

Let’s be real, there is still much to debate about WiFi/Mobile radiation. While recent studies have shown that such Mobile radiation can contribute to the formation of cancer cells, other studies did not show such an effect. Due to the increased risk of brain tumors from prolonged and heavy cell phone use, the World Health Organization ( WHO ) has moved to consider cell phone radiation a “possible human cancer gene”.

Is cancer the only thing that we need to worry about? Are there other effects cell Mobile radiation could have on our brains, both short- and long-term?

Mobile phones & EEG

Human brain cells communicate via electrical impulses, which can be detected by non-invasive EEG (Electroencephalography) measurements. A recent mobile phone study conducted by Dutch researchers found that brains detect electromagnetic radiation when the phone is placed on an ear. For 15 minutes, 31 healthy females were exposed for EEG monitoring. A change in brain activity (i.e. cortical activity increase (i.e.

The Netherlands study is not alone in showing EEG changes as a result of acute exposure to cell phones radiation. 2015 showed that GSM cell Mobile radiation causes brain changes. 2013 also revealed significant changes in brain activity. The GSM Mobile radiation-induced cortical excitability.

Mobile phones and BBB

More studies have confirmed the effects of cell phone radiation on blood-brain barriers. The blood-brain barrier (BBB) is formed in brain endothelial cells. It protects the brain from plasma fluctuations and circulating agents like neurotransmitters, xenobiotics, and other substances that can disrupt neural function. These results have been confirmed by more than one lab. They also show similar results.

More mobile phone affects

The National Institute on Drug Abuse of the United States also did research. Dr. Nora Volkow (director of the organization) found that 50 mins of exposure to cell phone radiation in adult men alter the brain’s primary fuel, glucose.

The brain of a five-year-old, whether it is healthy or not, is contained in a thinner skull. Also, the brain contains more fluid that compared to an adult’s. Research by French and Swiss industry modelers has shown that children’s bone marrow absorbs 10 times more radiation than that of adults, while toddlers and infants absorb even more.

According to the Radiation Safety Authority of Finland (home of Nokia’s mobile phone giant), one hour of mobile radiation can trigger harmful changes in human cells.

The radiation caused cells within blood vessel walls to shrink. This allowed harmful substances in the blood to ‘leak’ into the brain.

Repeated exposure to the same substance could cause the blood-brain barrier to become more porous, leading, to brain damage.

It concluded: “Repeated occurrences daily of these events over a long time could become a risk to your health due to the possible accumulation of brain damage.”

Although it’s not clear that radiation from cell phones and prolonged exposure can cause brain cancer, it’s easy to see that this is possible.

These effects can be cognitive or even trigger ADHD. There is also the problem of sleep. If your phone is next to your bed, it could be causing problems that are not immediately clear to you. Smartphone radiation can be dangerous and should not be used for any reason. It is possible to have your phone close to you at all times of the day. This can lead to insomnia, nightmares, or even waking up many times a night. What is the reason? It can disrupt certain self-regulating processes like your biological clock, cardiac rhythms, or biological clock.

Conclusion: Better safe than sorry

Let’s conclude by saying that there is ample evidence to support the idea that we need to do everything we can to decrease our exposure.

Avoid holding a phone too close to your face Or, if necessary, use your wallet and slim cases to cut your exposure.

Pregnant mothers should keep their mobile phones away from their abdomens. We recommend that pregnant women use our Bellyband.

Children should not play with or use their cell phones. For older children, a headset or speakerphone is recommended for talking on a mobile phone.

Never write and drive (this applies regardless of radiation …),) and use adapted antennas to cars to prevent the greatest power absorption as the phone moves through different cell systems.

You can turn off your wireless router during the night to reduce radiation exposure or leave it outside.

Get good sleep in a darkened room and eat green vegetables to boost natural DNA repair that has been affected by cell phone use.
